You could have knocked me over with a feather when I found out today’s National Day walks like a duck and talks like duck on
NATIONAL CLICHE DAY!
It’s an ill wind that blows no one any good, and on Cliche Day we wish the wind to be ever at your back as you keep your appointed rounds with keeping your nose to the grindstone.
Let no stone go unturned in our pursuit of happiness and the proper way to observe this holiday.
Pointing out the obvious is always a safe bet, and cliches have as least some ring of truth to them, so why not remind everyone that indeed, all that glitters is not gold, but all cats are gray in the dark? There but for the grace of God goes around and comes around.
