Now, if we could only remember who or what it is we’re supposed to be forgetting, or not forgetting on
NATIONAL FORGET-ME-NOT DAY!
Do we write Forget-Me-Not notes to people, or do we forget about them? Reminisce or repress?
In any respectably misspent life, there’s no shortage of people and situations we’d rather forget, and with damned good reasons.
Now we can’t help but wonder if Forget-Me-Not Day is a stinging reminder of just how difficult it is to forget the unsavory, or a ringing endorsement for having an excellent memory.
Who remembers? Have a neutral time. I think.
