TODAY’S NATIONAL DAY, 8/6/23 – ROOT BEER FLOAT DAY!

Root Beer FloatLike Thanksgiving and July 4th, here’s a holiday for everyone to celebrate, but without all the baggage. There is no more joyous experience than celebrating

NATIONAL ROOT BEER FLOAT DAY!

There’s no traditional cooking to be unfavorably compared to previous years, no complicated rituals to perform with open flames, and no special outfits to wear.

There’s just three ingredients – root beer, vanilla ice cream and a Summer day. Just put them together and you’re a genius (root beer first, Einstein!) and, best of all, no rules.

Once you pour your Root Beer Float, you’ve discharged your official obligations and you can celebrate the rest of the day as you see fit. Most people, however, go with the traditional Second Root Beer Float to wind down the festivities in the evening, and the very pious have been known to go for thirdsies. Happy Root Beer Float Day.
