Why just for one day? Seems like an awful lot of trouble to grow a green Mohawk and pierce your body in several dozen places for just one holiday, but what the hell, if that’s your thing, who are we to argue with your decision?
The best of the punk movement, The Ramones, The Clash, The Sex Pistols, Television, and Richard Hell & the Voidoids were committed people, immersed in music and rebellion, walking the walk every day in beat up leather jackets and shredded jeans.
Their music sounded like a Rock & Roll Emergency, and their lyrics were a battle cry against complacency. Maybe one day is all most of us can handle, so lets make it a scorcher. Hey-Ho, Let’s Go!
