Can’t say I know many guys named Herbert with high blood pressure, but a holiday’s a holiday, so let’s get festive for
NATIONAL MORE HERBS, LESS SALT DAY!
You can call me Herb, you can call me Herbie, but whatever you do, don’t call me your Salty Dog!
The origins of National More Herbs, Less Salt Day have become shrouded in the mists of history. Folklore holds that it was King Herbert IV of Moldavia, known as “Herbert the Red” for his florid complexion, who first decreed this holiday after a visit to his cardiologist. Not much else is known about More Herbs, Less Salt Day, so let’s just drink, eat junk food and sit around all day long anyway and call it a freebie.
What could go wrong?
