TODAY’S NATIONAL DAY, 11/23/21 – MOTHER GOOSE DAY!

Mother GooseAttention Little Boy Blue, Miss Muffet and the Tweedles, both Dee and Dum! Hickory Dickory Dock, look at the clock, it’s

NATIONAL MOTHER GOOSE DAY!

Little Jack Horner, Old King Cole, Wee Willie Winkie and Little Bo-peep are just a few of the friends of Mother Goose, the Paulette Bunyan of nursery rhymes. She lives in Banbury Cross in the House That Jack Built, next door to The Old Woman Who Lived in a Shoe and about a crooked mile down the lane from that famous contrarian, Mistress Mary.

Every toddler knows about the magic world of Mother Goose, nursery rhymes and fairy tales, and every grownup remembers. The more sensible of us still believe, and pass them on to the peewees. Why should they get out of it?

•Suggested Activities: Eating your pease porridge hot.
