INTERNATIONAL SPAY DAY!

There are too many pets and not enough pet owners to give them the loving homes they deserve, so the International Humane Society and HSUS implore pet lovers to spay and neuter their pets at a young age. Think of how much you love your own dogs and cats, and what sweet creatures they are. Now imagine them homeless, sick and hungry, or living chained in a cage until they are euthanized. Millions of animals are needlessly suffering and homeless, and thousands are killed every single day, 2.7 million per year, simply because there are no homes for them. In 1970, before the Spay Day campaign, the death toll was over 20 million annually, so spaying and neutering works, just not well enough yet. Spay and neuter your pets today.

•Suggested Activities: Practicing lying to the dog about where you’re going.
